A few pieces of the jigsaw still to place but with media day this Wednesday we should be ready to hit the ground running with the 2026 Fantasy BTCC Campaign.

The final few drivers will be updated here once news is confirmed but there's nothing to stop you from preparing your team for the opening round from Donington Park on 18-19 April.

As usual the competition will be free from any advertisements, tracking cookies or AI nonsense for all players - but that does mean I have to personally front up the costs of running it. So if you like Fantasy BTCC, and are in a position to do so, please consider making a donation. My time is free but it still costs around £500 a year to run - and any help I receive in covering those costs - through donations - will help to ensure that the competition continues for many years to come.

It's almost time for another installment of Fantasy BTCC.

A lot of the drivers have been inked in, certainly enough to start drafting up your provisional line-ups for the opening round at Donington Park on 18th April.

It's time to get your entry in and spread the word! Let's see if we can beat last years 1190 entries!

With the introduction of the 'Qualifying Race' on Saturday afternoons - scoring has been updated here to reflect the change in format. Sundays 3 races will remain as we've become accustomed to (since 2004!)

The usual points will be awarded for the qualifying session on Saturday, plus half(ish) points will be awarded for Saturdays race, as well as points for laps, gains and fastest lap.

This does mean the cut-off to select your drivers is likely to be earlier on Saturday - once the first qualifying session gets underway.

The competition is currently being prepared for the next installment of Fantasy BTCC. I thought it was time for a bit of a colour change too - I hope you like it.

Daniel Rowbottom was DSQ'd from race 3 yesterday and results and scores have been corrected here. Thankfully it didn't make any difference to the final podium positions so no awkwardness in reclaiming those virtual trophies!

In other news Mike Hogbin's BTCC-BritishTouringCarChat Facebook league makes it 3 in a row in the battle of the personal leagues. It was a convincing victory and the league will be a clear favourite to make it 4 in a row next year. Is there a challenger waiting in the wings to give Mikes league a run for it's money?
